Happy Noon Year

Grab your party hats and noisemakers...and get ready to count down to noon!

Every December 31st, Kirkley's family rings in the new year with black-eyed peas for luck, greens for treasure, and cornbread for gold at a party at midnight...which is WAY past her bedtime. But this year, the holiday is just for grownups. Not when Kirkley comes up with a clever plan to put her own twist on the traditions and countdown until twelve o'clock, making the day a party for everyone!

Julia Pierre Hammond believes the best parties make everyone feel like they belong...and include glitter. Inspired by her Brazilian and Black heritage, she writes stories that help children feel seen, worthy, and proud to celebrate who they are. Julia lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her party-loving husband and two kids.
