This poetic picture book is an ode to life's quiet, gentle moments and all the strength, wonder, and love they contain.
From daybreak to moonrise, one family savors the quiet things: The first yawn of a sunlit morning. A whispery shout in the library. The goodbye hug before school. The tick of a clock. A basketball net's swish. And the rustle of hands signing the word "goodnight."
This moving picture book by acclaimed poet Joshua Bennett--brought to life with dreamy, transportive illustrations by Minako Tomigahara--creates space for life's softest moments to shine, and celebrates a family's beautiful, quiet love.
